Chris is a management consultant with over 25 years experience in the financial services and technology industries. He brings a laser focus on results, an ability to drive to the underlying issues, and a sense of humor combined with an eye for the absurd that helps keep fun a part of the mix. Chris thinks his primary value is his ability to mobilize to the obvious. He helps teams face the elephant in the room, name it, define it, and deal with it effectively.
Chris' industry experience includes management and consulting for life insurance companies, property and casualty insurance, accident, disability and health insurance companies, credit unions, a dot.com start-up, a technology services company, and non-profit social services organizations. In these companies, he has led efforts that created and established forward-looking business models, converted to and implemented primary mission-critical processing systems, led efforts which measurably improved efficiency and quality, implemented privacy (Gramm-Leach-Bliley) compliance, and negotiated and secured major sourcing and support contracts. His management experience includes leadership of multiple customer service divisions and departments as well as Programming, Project Management, and Account Management and Service Level Management Departments. Through his efforts and those of his immediate management peer team, his company was turned-around from a position of losing $3 million a year to a positive position $1.5 million the following year and approximately $3 million the year after that. Most recently, he established the Program Management Office for PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company of Seattle to lead the unified corporate movement to success.
